Description

Hard Maple is a light colored wood that is ideal for kitchenware and serving platters thanks to its durability and closed-poor grain. This large charcuterie board from Elbereth Woodcraft is uniquely designed with handles at both ends, which is convenient when you load up with everyone’s favorite meats, cheeses, crackers, and other snacks. An overall length of 30 inches and width of 13 inches provides substantial room while still being manageable for the trip out to the back yard. Just like everything that comes from Elbereth Woodcraft, our large maple charcuterie board is sanded and finished by hand in Colorado by a craftsman intent on getting every detail just right. We believe that you deserve a higher quality product and that’s what our passion for woodcraft provides. If you’re looking for a charcuterie board that makes a bit more of a statement, check out our large maple charcuterie board with the scroll handle.

Care

When caring for your Elbereth Woodcraft pieces, it is essential that you do not run them through the dishwasher. The combination of scalding temperatures, harsh detergents, and high-pressure water will ruin most wood products. Wood is a naturally porous organic material that’s best maintained by gentle handwashing with soap and warm water before drying with a towel. Once hand dried, we recommend placing wood kitchen items like ours in a drying rack or leaned against the backsplash to allow even air drying of any moisture the towel may have missed. All Elbereth Woodcraft items come with a small tin of wood conditioner to be applied if the wood begins to look dry. If you received any of our cutting boards, your purchase also included a bottle of hydrating wood serum. Apply this before the wood conditioner to better protect against the higher demands of cutting boards.
