It’s made from Hard Maple to endure the most rigorous use while hand-sanded edges leave no doubt that this was made by a person who cares about their craft. The main area of this board measures about 8” wide and nearly 10” long with a comfortable 4” handle. The reversible design allows it to be used comfortably in either hand while the thoughtful beverage is reversible and accommodates a variety of wine and cocktail glasses.
Care
When caring for your Elbereth Woodcraft pieces, it is essential that you do not run them through the dishwasher. The combination of scalding temperatures, harsh detergents, and high-pressure water will ruin most wood products. Wood is a naturally porous organic material that’s best maintained by gentle handwashing with soap and warm water before drying with a towel. Once hand dried, we recommend placing wood kitchen items like ours in a drying rack or leaned against the backsplash to allow even air drying of any moisture the towel may have missed. All Elbereth Woodcraft items come with a small tin of wood conditioner to be applied if the wood begins to look dry. If you received any of our cutting boards, your purchase also included a bottle of hydrating wood serum. Apply this before the wood conditioner to better protect against the higher demands of cutting boards.
